Hillmuth Certified Automotive of Columbia

As a rule I don't generally review business on Google. However, I must say a recent visit (after years of good service) our car needed a part replaced. The replacement part was defective and a second part had to be ordered. Went to pick up and pay bill. Receipt showed amount owed $0. Wow, seems the supplier had to foot the bill for the entire install business.

The guys at Hillmuth consistently maintain a high standard of competency, great customer service and professionalism. This is the only place I trust to take care of my car properly. Car repairs are expensive everywhere, but I never feel "cheated" when I take my car to Hillmuth. The service manager Scott is very hands-on, personable and attentive to my car needs. All of the guys there are courteous, friendly and likable. They take some of the anxiety out of dealing with car maintenance and/or repairs. I will definitely continue to make Hillmuth my go-to maintenance and repair shop. Anthony Seegars

Communication was excellent. They proactively kept reaching out to me with each and every update. My car broke down, towed and left at their doorstep unannounced. Their diagnostics were thorough and honest. We live 200 miles from Columbia MD and they helped make a very stressful event manageable. They could have told us anything and we would have had little recourse but to follow their repair advice. They worked very hard to find the problem which happily was not as dire as it initially appeared. They were very patient with my numerous calls and inquiries.

I have gone to Hillmuth (Columbia) twice for various car repairs and maintenance and I have had a very positive experience. They have a welcoming environment and I appreciate being able to use a loaner car when available. Alex has been my mechanic and does a great job at explaining the technical aspects in a way I can understand and helping me decide what services make the most sense for my needs and budget. I have been satisfied with the quality of their work and plan to return to Hillmuth for future needs.
